Randyland Family Session! | Pittsburgh Family Photographer
Updated: Dec 3, 2019
I think in a lot of ways, our lives are just made up of the relationships and connections we make with other people. And it’s so beautiful and satisfying to watch the friends I’ve had the longest form their own families, and to watch those families grow up. One of my biggest joys as a photographer is getting to photograph my friends’ families.
Lynn wanted to do this session at Randyland. And I thought that was a super cool idea. I love doing sessions in unique spots. And have you been to Randyland? It’s pretty unique. I had never been to Randyland. I can't believe I had never been to Randyland. Colors are like, my favorite things in the world, and I was in color-heaven at Randyland.
I’ve known Lynn since 11th grade! We went to high school together, undergrad, and graduate school together. We’ve worked together, I think, a total of five different places. Including Dairy Queen, in high school. And also a several year stint as cake decorators. WE WERE BOTH CAKE DECORATORS.
Aren’t we sick of each other yet??
Basically, our resumes were probably darn near identical. Until I decided to throw caution to the wind, quit my job, and become a photographer, hahahaaaaaaaaa. (sweaty maniacal laugh) Ahem.
Thankfully, even though we no longer work together, we are still buds. She is one of the funniest, most creative, most caring people I know, and it’s been such a joy to watch her family and little ones grow. I hope I get to photograph them, like, a thousand more times.
