Frick Park Maternity Session | Pittsburgh Area Family Photographer
HAPPY NEW YEAR, FRIENDS!
Did you resolve to anything??
You know, I am not much of a resolution-maker, usually. Or at least not on New Year's Eve. I try to continuously improve, learn and better myself. With mixed results, of course. I'm not going to tell you how many times I have endeavored to turn over a new leaf, and get up in the morning when my alarm goes off the FIRST time.
This year, it's kind of different. I still don't have a specific resolution per se, and I still hit the snooze button just about 40 times. But January marks the beginning of my slower season as a mostly-natural-light-photographer, so its also time to plan and set goals for my business for the upcoming year. And let me tell you, I'm pretty excited about some of the new things I have brewing!
But that is all I am going to share for right now. Heh heh. Anyway!
I don't consider myself a "prop photographer"... Or I haven't before now.
I like to capture moments between families as naturally as possible, and I *usually* think props detract from that.
Plus, if we are being honest, I am not very good at styling props. I don't know where to put them where they don't seem awkward. Other photographers do props so much better than I do. And I am okay with that.
But, if these sparkly little reindeer antlers count as props... count me in. TOO FRICKEN CUTE.
I'm just in love with the morning light and the sparkles and their outfits. And everrrrything!!
